ENG only: Didn't quite come out how I intended. For those of you who are wondering what is going on... this arose from my musings about the beginning of Lily and James' relationship.
By this point Sirius and James are so close it almost goes deeper than a real life brother relationship, so when Lily comes into the picture I imagine it's a bit of an adjustment for everyone. Lily here is unsettled because she's used to her personal space and not only is James now constantly hugging her and touching her (which she likes but still takes some getting used to) but I think Sirius too would be very casually physically friendly at first, almost like he is with James, coming up to her and sharing a bawdy joke, ruffling her hair, maybe wrapping his arms around her shoulders, completely oblivious.
Sirius didn't come out as handsome as I was going for (will I ever be able to draw him right?!). Anyways, leaving it at that. Also, though I love HP drawing uniforms makes me a bit sad because they are so monochrome :/

I like this picture a lot. Yes, there is a period of awkwardness and maybe a little anger and jealously when a serious girlfriend enters the picture. However, a truly good friend will adjust!
